About Radu Gheorghe

Born in Bucharest, Romania, Radu Gheorghe discovered photography through his mother’s Nikon film camera at a young age. What began as curiosity quickly became a lifelong way of observing people, emotion, and everyday life through a thoughtful and cinematic lens.

After moving to the United States in 2013, Radu began pursuing photography more seriously, developing a style that blends documentary honesty with refined visual storytelling. Today, he works across both digital and film formats, bringing a timeless, tactile quality to his work while maintaining the flexibility and precision modern projects demand.

Based between Fairfield County, Connecticut and Seattle, Washington, Radu is available for portraits, editorial, lifestyle, events, and commercial photography. His approach is calm, collaborative, and detail-oriented — focused on creating images that feel authentic, emotionally grounded, and visually enduring.

Radu is a member of SHIM Art Network and is affiliated with Tether Tools and Tiffen.
